It's 49 degrees outside right now, according to Weather Underground. I have my thermostat set on 70. And I'm freezing. My hands are cold. My nose is cold. I'm huddled on the couch under a blanket. The temperature in the house is hovering around 66.
I know that it is much colder in other parts of the country today, but they have gas furnaces, not a lousy heat pump that clearly doesn't work well. And the kicker of all of this - the property manager doesn't seem to care. His solution: run the ceiling fans. Yeah, because creating a DRAFT makes it feel so much better in here. Idiot. The other thing about the ceiling fans - they are too high for me to adjust the speed on them, even from a ladder. And they're set on high. Not happening.
Hoping for spring to come soon!!
